1. When is Shifting the Lens? Where is it being hosted?

Shifting the Lens will be held from Monday, November 1st to Wednesday, November 3rd. It is being hosted virtually using the Zoom platform.

2. What is the programming schedule?

You can view the programming schedule here. Full workshop details will be available shortly.

3. Do you have to be a Partnership member to attend?

No, you do not have to be a member of the Partnership to attend the conference, but members do receive discounted registration rates.

4. How do I become a member of the Partnership?

You can apply for membership with your conference registration.

5. How much does registration cost?

Registration rates are:
Super Early Bird Registration - Until June 30th
Survivors & Students*: $25 | Members: $149 | Non-Members: $199

Early Bird Registration - July 1 - August 31
Survivors & Students*: $49 | Members: $199 | Non-Members: $279

Regular Registration - September 1 - November 3rd
Survivors & Students*: $49 | Members: $249 | Non-Members: $349

*Survivor and Student Members not otherwise associated with an organization or agency

6. Are group registration rates available?

No, we will not have group registration rates for the 2021 conference.

7. I can only attend one day of the conference, is that possible?

We do not offer one-day registrations, but all registrants will have access to recordings of all workshops after the conference concludes. We expect it to take approximately 1 month to edit and post recordings.

8. I just want to attend one session. Is that possible to do without registering for the conference?

We do not offer single-session registrations.

9. Do I have to pre-register for workshops?

There is no need to pre-register for workshops.

10. Do I have to pre-register for Keynote addresses?

There is no need to pre-register for Keynote addresses.

11. When does registration close?

Registration closes on the final day of conference, November 3rd, 2021.

12. What type of payment do you accept, and when is payment due?

We accept payment via credit card and check. All conference registration invoices will be due by 10/29/2021, at which point any unpaid registrations will be cancelled.

13. How do I get a receipt for my registration?

You will automatically receive an invoice/receipt for your registration upon submission. If you do not see this in your inbox, please check your spam filters. If you still can't find your invoice/receipt, please email Christina Nicosia at christina@cpedv.org.

14. What is the cancellation & refund policy?

Super Early Bird Registrations are non-refundable, but participant substitutions are permitted with a $50 registration transfer fee. The Partnership must be notified of intent to transfer registration by Friday, October 29th. Substituted participant must register by the start of the conference on November 1st. Registrations after October 29th are non-refundable and non-transferable.

For all other registration types:
• A full refund, less a $25.00 processing fee, will be given until the October 29th deadline
• If participants cancel their registrations after the deadline they will be billed the full price of registration.
• Participant substitutions are permitted with notification by October 29th. Substituted participant must register by the start of the conference on November 1st.

15. Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

Super Early Bird Registrations can be transferred with a $50 registration transfer fee. All other registrations may be transferred at no expense. are permitted with notification by October 29th. Substituted participant must register by the start of the conference on November 1st.
To transfer your registration, please send the new registrant’s name and email address to christina@cpedv.org.

16. Can I volunteer to help with the conference?

We do not currently have volunteer opportunities available, but if you are interested in volunteering please email christina@cpedv.org to be put on an interest list in case opportunities arise.

17. What kinds of accessibility arrangements are available?

The Partnership will provide support services, including interpretation, upon request, if possible. Please request accessibility services or accommodations for people who experience disabilities at the time of registration and/or four weeks in advance to maximize our efforts and ability to provide these accomodations. 18. Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

We do not provide certificates of attendance.

19. Do you offer continuing education credits?

We do not offer continuing education credits.
